Thanks for the great coverage! We have a house on Curly Jack but are not there at the moment. Is there anything we should be doing in terms of informing people so they don’t waste time in case of an evacuation?

GP, they have asked us to leave a note on the door if you’ve gone elsewhere, so they won’t be looking for you. I hope the fire doesn’t get as far as Curly Jack Road!

My son Matt is there with a crew from Colorado; this is his first forest fire fighting experience. I appreciate the news, so we can follow from home in Michigan.

I so appreciate the frequent up-dates about the fires. We are watching it closely and keeping HC in our prayers. We’ve been there for a fire or two and know what it feels like. Please keep the up-dates going.
