There was a fair for kids at the River Park in Happy Camp on July 14, 2001. Children were treated to fun activities like face painting, drawing of Bigfoot pictures, and ring toss. One of the attractions was a petting zoo with llamas and miniature horses from Little Dreams Ranch.

Cimeron waits patiently as the hungry miniature horse enjoys the fresh, green lawn. A crowd gathers nearby to see the llamas at the Children’s Fair petting zoo in River Park.

July 12, 2001

A 4H club was formed in Happy Camp this last winter. Projects this year include rabbits, swine, horses, crafts, cooking, archery, hiking, and camping.
