Happy Camp Business News Flash!

By ‘JavaBob’ Schmalzbach

There has been a changing of the guard here in Happy Camp. Bob and Trista Parry has purchased the Siskiyou House from Ivan and Gini Hyde. The Siskiyou House has been a fixture here in our town since the early nineties. It was the place to go to find unique crafts, gifts, and souvenirs from and about our little town.

Bob and Trista changed the name of this wonderful little business to the Marble Mountain Gift Company. They were careful to save much of the flavor of the previous gift shop, while remodeling and updating it. It is still a great place to shop for those unique items, but now it has an extra secret!

Bob and Trista added a beautiful coffee and espresso bar to the mix! Now you can come in and sit while enjoying your favorite coffee drinks along with some fresh pastries or other delights while marveling at all the local and unique items that can be found there. Trista has become a trained and talented barista and she, along with her crew, can whip up any of your favorite espressos, latte’s, or a choice of any other specialty hot or frozen coffee or other specialty drink for you.

There is plenty of room to sit in the cozy and comfortable sitting area inside the shop, or you can choose to sit outside while enjoying the summer sun shine.

If you haven’t yet taken the time to stop in and check it out, you need to do so… Stop in and tell them that JavaBob sent you… you will be glad you did!
