    On Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 2pm, the Department of Interior and California State Representatives will be addressing the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors on Klamath Dam removal. The meeting will be held in the BOS chambers at 311 4th street in Yreka.

    THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO SEND A MESSAGE DIRECTLY TO KEN SALAZAR, STATE OFFICIALS, AND OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES. THE PEOPLE OF SISKIYOU WHO OPPOSE DAM REMOVAL NEED TO FILL THE STREET IN FRONT OF THE COURTHOUSE ON TUESDAY SO THAT OUR VOICES CAN BE HEARD IN WASHINGTON AND SACRAMENTO. THE FUTURE OF OUR ONLY ECONOMY AGRICULTURE AND OUR WATER RIGHTS ARE IN JEOPARDY. WHETHER YOU WORK IN AGRICULTURE OR AT WAL-MART; LIVE IN DORRIS, MONTAGUE, FORT JONES, COPCO, OR HAPPY CAMP, THIS AFFECTS YOU. PUT A FACE ON THE KLAMATH DAM DECISION.     Thank you for sending me Happy Camp news. I used to live there and I so enjoy reading about it. That area is so very beautiful and I love the wild Klamath River, it is beautiful. I have swam, picked huge berries and just had fun on the Klamath river. I love that area and plan to visit one day.
