NATIVE AM DAY & Open House Saturday & Register for Dear Mad’m now!

happy Native American Day Friday, Sept 28th! There will be a program at the Happy Camp Elementary School at 12:45! David Arwood and students will present a Brush Dance. Jennifer Goodwin and students will do a flower dance. There will be stories, language, basket making and many other topics of interest to all.

Besides, some local offices will be closed, such as the Computer Center, for Native American Day!

Just two weeks until Dear Mad’m Symposium. If you haven’t gotten your registration in yet, be sure to do it. Space is limited since it isn’t the outdoors picnic that we had last year. The cooks need to know how many will be coming for lunch so be sure to get your registration in right aay…we want to see you there!
Peter and Elizabeth Lismer who have written the new book, Dear Mad’m Who Was She will be there to autograph your book and you won’t want to miss their presentation on the life of Stella Walthall Patterson and the writing of the book about her.
