Neighborhood Watch Celebrating Wonderfulness!
Saturday there was a meeting at the Log High School 34 Fourth Street in Happy Camp. Deputy David Nye was in town for the Orientation and Training for Neighborhood Watch.
It was disappointing that only a dozen were there when the training began at 9 a.m., but people kept coming and attendance had doubled even before lunch time. Lunch, incidently was chili (both vegetariean and regular) cornbread, salads and cakes–thanks Doreen and thank you to Scott Valley Bank and other donors who helped! More people kept coming which is wonderful because it will take commitment on the part of all the good citizens of Happy Camp to make Neighborhood Watch work again as it was so successful in the past.
