I have loved Stella’s book Dear Mad’m for many years and read it again at least once each year. Stella is a heroine of mine, I feel as if I know her and she is a friend. I too live in the Siskiyou Mountains, although in Oregon and have many adventures, although I am closer to town than Stella was. The beasr and cougar come around from time to time, and I lost my pretty cat to the cougar. Wish I would have had the big gun! I really appreciate this story about Stella. Thank you!
