What’s Happening along the Klamath this weekend
Saturday is a big day along the beautiful wild Klamath River. The Seiad Valley Volunteer Fire Department is having their hugely popular rummage sale. You would not believe the bargains and extraordinary finds that have been located at this special rummage sale. Not only can you find something you need and have always wished you could find, but the funds raised go toward keeping this group of Volunteers ready to protect homes along the River from fire. Yard Sale entripreneurs from last weeks Art & Treasure Sales in Happy Camp are welcome to donate their unsold merchandise to the Seiad Valley Firefighters! This is a valuable service and we are glad to support the Firefighters with donations of things for the rummage sale and coming to the sale as shoppers also.
Does anyone know a Lisa Lane? She married Aug 26, 1990, birth notice for Cameron was Santa Rosa. Some photos and family albums got lost in Siskiyou County and we’d like her to contact Happy Camp News at jbushy @happycampnews.com. Thank you!
In Happy Camp the children will be at the 11th Annual Kids’ Fair sponsored by the Happy Camp Family Resource Center. The Resource Center gets help from numerous community and county agencies, organizations and businesses which makes for a wide variety of activities going on at the Park. This Saturday from 11 to 1 PM are the times at Happy Camp River Park. All kids and their families are welcome. You can stop by the old go kart track and see what activities the Outdoor Club has going Saturday also!
Have you read the article on our new Happy Camp History page which gives more background on Stella Patterson, better known in these parts as “Dear Madam?”
